Join us for lunch on June 30th to explore what it really means for research to be reproducible & replicable, and how two international networks are working to make it the norm.

This OSC-W lunch meeting kicks off with an interactive exercise comparing definitions of reproducibility, giving you the chance to reflect on what the concept means across disciplines and contexts. From there, we will dive into two networks at the forefront of this movement: the Dutch Reproducibility Network (NLRN) and SORTEE (the Society for Open, Reliable, and Transparent research in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology).

Daniela Gawehns (Coordinator, Dutch Reproducibility Network) and Ben Auxier (WUR/SORTEE) will share their experiences and perspectives, offering insights into how these communities are building a culture of transparency and rigour in research, and how you can get involved.

Whether you are new to the topic or already engaged with open science practices, this session will offer fresh perspectives and practical ideas for making research more reproducible, reliable, and robust.
